Description

Um so last night... (At 2 am) I was trying to go to sleep... but then ideas started streamin through my head and... I sketched the line art for this... and then tonight from 9 pm until just now... I was coloring it... OMG I CAN ART!!! I MEAN LOOK AT THAT!!! I AM SO FREAKING PROUD OF THIS!!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!!

Okay I am calm now... NO I AM NOT THIS IS TOO AWESOME I CAN'T BELIEVE I DREW THIS!

Also I styled this Erik as a mix between ALW's and Leroux's Phantom. I Love the half mask thing by ALW because it opens up the face not only for expression on the stage but amasing expression in art. and I Love Gaston Leroux's Original Erik because he so much more grotesque. Sorry ALW but I love the yellowing skin and skeletal face (hence my really defined cheek bones on this one), ALW you ind of blew it with Gerik's make up job there...(except the live stage show it is fine.) Still My Preference is Phantoms with Hats and Yellowing skin and black eyes!

Um the media I used was mixed. I inked the entire thing with Faber Castell inke pens. Then I colored the hair, roses, jacket, and cravat, with Letraset Promarkers. The sheet music's base color was water color, and then shaded by prismacolor pencils. Also for the sheet music i searched and put the actual notes on there. I can't actually read sheet music (despite my love for musical theatre) so i hope they are correct... for the ones that are not covered up at least... The white on the roses, hair , jacket, cravat and such were by white charcoal and Conntt A Paris Pencil thing.. And Erik's Skin and mask were colored with I don't know crappy I think roseart colored pencils...(well not so crappy now you amazing pencils, you) and Prismacolor pencils.

I Thank you all so much for sticking through with me for the years. And I than you because I have gained 200+ watchers Thank you so much!
